What is actinic keratosis?

Utilisation FOTOKER

Actinic keratoses are precancerous skin lesions linked to chronic or repeated sun exposure.

They therefore mainly occur on the areas of the body most regularly exposed (the face, bald head, neckline, hands and forearms).

They appear as small, chronic pink or brown lesions, which may be scaly or crusted, flat or slightly raised, and are very often rough to the touch.

These lesions may sometimes seem insignificant, yet they are a sign of excessive sun exposure.
